Meet our Winemaker:
• Gabriel Aristarain •
Fluent in English, French and Spanish, Gabriel has Argentinean & Italian nationalities with an academic background in oenology from various prestigious universities, such as the Agronomic Faculty from the University Nacional of Cuyo (Argentina), University Juan Agustin Maza (Argentina) and ISISS “G.B. Cerletti” Conegliano (Treviso, Italy). He also has a Masters degree in Business Administration and has worked as adjunct professor of enological chemistry at Universidad Juan Agustin Maza (Mendoza, Argentina).
In addition to his academic background, Gabriel comes to us with extensive field experience having worked in world renowned viticulture regions such as St. Emilion / Grand Cru in Bordeaux France and Mendoza Argentina. He is also winemaker for the cellars of “Antucurá” and “Luna Austral” whilst also administering his own wine terroir.
Gabriel’s vision and leadership will be instrumental as we strive to produce wine of the highest quality in Yadkin Valley, North Carolina.
